brought over from my old journal.

06-22-2004 (though it feels like today)

no makeup. no hair products. no nylons. no jewelry. no tight shirts or high heels. smiles only if i truly feel it curling up the corners of my mouth.

i feel like coming clean. i feel like going natural. inside and out.

no manufactured foods. if it didnt grow or breathe, i'm not eating it. if it didnt come sparkling out of a mountain side or fill the oceans, i'm not drinking it.

i feel like coming clean. inside and out.

at least for today. if i'm still sane by the end of the day, i'll do it again tomorrow.

The Moon Is Always Female - Marge Piercy

The moon is always female and so
am I although often in this vale
of razorblades I have wished I could
put on and take off my sex like a dress
and why not? Do men always wear their sex
always?

G'morning.

Hi, you don't know me, but I could have written that exact post so many times over the past several years. Love the Marge Piercy poem, wish I could have written that as well ;)
